In a departure from the usual procedure, we invite you to cautiously enter the most secret place in the entire Surnateum!
The problem we faced at one point in the history of the museum was to find a sanctuary for random haunted antiques we came across.
Where would we be able to display equipment as sensitive as our set of Quidditch gear dating from 1926, including an 'Eclipse 500' super broom. The average muggle wouldn't have a clue!
Not only was there a risk of destabilising the muggle world, a lesser evil, but of discrediting an honourable institution and its personnel. And yet, these artefacts absolutely had to be stored there so that the concept of the Surnateum could remain intact.
That was when the Curator had the bright idea of creating the Secret Department. Sealed off by codes understood by only the subtlest of visitors, the Secret Department only welcomes those capable of entering it. A secret passageway was hidden within the Glossary in the virtual part of the museum, along with two keys capable of opening it. Only a sensitive can make it through; there is nothing to stop you trying...
After all, perhaps you have a ticket.
